Brenda Dones
Ms. Dones was elected to her first term as Weld County Assessor in 2018 and is currently running for her second term. In her first term as Assessor, she was named Assessor of the Year by Colorado Assessors Association. She is unopposed in this race.

Carly Koppes

Weld county commissioner - district 2
scott james
Running for his second term as Weld County Commissioner in District 2, Mr. James currently serves as the Chairman of the Weld Board of County Commissioners. Mr. James has proven himself to be an expert in transportation and spent many hours at the State Capital testifying to protect the interest of Weld County and its citizens. Kevin ross
Mr. Ross is running for the At Large seat being vacated by retiring Weld County Commissioner Steve Moreno. A Colorado native, Mr. Ross grew up working on his family farm outside of Eaton and began his career as a financial advisor and then the VP of a private equity company. Weld county sheriff

Mr. Reams is running for his third and final term as Weld County Sheriff. He is the Past President (2021) of the County Sheriffs of Colorado and a staunch defender of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Mr. Reams is running unopposed.
